A standoff in Clermont County, Ohio left one sheriff's deputy dead and another injured on Saturday, according to Clermont County Sheriff's office Captain Jeff Sellars.
Officers responded to a 911 call from a man who claimed people were inside his apartment and would not leave. The man told police he had weapons in his apartment Upon arriving, the officers could not reach the man as he barricaded himself within the confines of the dwelling. Around 8:15 p.m., shots were fired from the apartment, Sellars said. Pierce Township Police requested a multi-agency response team.Ten minutes later, the team arrived and tried to negotiate with the suspect, Sellars said, but more shots were fired. At 10:37 more shots rung out from the complex striking two deputies. All of the shots fired were from the suspects weapon. Updates will be provided as they come in.

I know i will pray for the officer thst got shot and killed i will send prayers to the families and also the police department im just one person but i had a friend that was a state trooper back in ohio that got killed.
