In the age of defending, police are leaving the force in record numbers.
Ever wondered why the crime in most large cities is increasing or has already surged beyond record numbers ? well, the answer is pretty simple. Cops are leaving and not returning. The age of Defunding the police has had a dramatic affect on Law enforcement. Officers across the nation have left in record numbers in fear of being prematurely charged with a criminal offense to appease the crowd. While officers leaving agencies is nothing new, it's the amount of police that are leaving at once as well as Departments inability to produce new recruits in a timely manner. People are simply not interested in becoming police anymore.

The Downtown Emergency Service Center (DESC) located in Seattle, WA recently hung fliers at their Navigation Center on 12th Avenue South informing addicts about the types of free drug use paraphernalia the shelter can provide, KTTH reported.
“New at the Nav!!! Booty bumping kits,” one flier proclaimed, before launching into the benefits of administering heroin rectally. While we understand trying to make things safer when it comes to drugs use, we are slightly taken back by this one. Taking drugs via your butt just doesn't seem.... I don't know.... Ideal I guess.
The DESC, a self-proclaimed social justice organization, has touted itself as a homeless advocacy group that utilizes “harm-reduction techniques and evidence-based practices,” according to the news outlet.
“The efforts we make are focused on reducing risks to people engaged in risky behaviors, and helping people make use of treatment that can be helpful to them,” DESC Executive Director Daniel Malone told KTTH’s Jason Rantz Show.
President Joe Biden, During a recent CNN town hall Conference Stated that former police officers and military personnel were fueling the “growth of white supremacy,”
On the contrary, many are questioning the legitimacy of these statements. As the sitting President openly condemns white supremacy and also points the finger of blame, we are left wondering where was his voice last year. 2020 was riddled with riots, chaos and destruction, but no CNN Town Hall interview condemning what seemed like a never ending bout of destruction.
While many of the world wants reform, (Good reform) but this is starting to look more like a finger pointing game where we place the blame, but have no solution to the problem

A baby was shot in the head during a heated argument between the parents.
OLUMBIA, Tenn. — A Columbia man is wanted on four counts of attempted murder, accused of firing into a car occupied by his girlfriend and three children, all under the age of three.
According to Columbia Police, 21-year-old Kobia Eugene Lloyd and his 22-year-old girlfriend were arguing in their car in the parking lot of an apartment complex on Hallmark Drive. Police say Lloyd got out and his girlfriend attempted to drive away. Investigators say Lloyd jumped on the car and fired a single round through the car’s roof. The bullet missed the woman driving, but reportedly hit an 8-month-old little girl in a car seat behind the driver’s seat, striking her in the head. Police say the man fled with the gun and the woman drove her child to the ER at Maury Regional Medical Center while calling for help.
Unthinkable, Unfathomable and outrageous to think that a grown man, arguing with his girlfriend would so recklessly discharge a firearm in a car filled with children. Absolutely zero disregard for human life.

As the removal of Qualified immunity hangs in the balance, states across the nation could see a significant increase in crime as well as a significance decrease in police willing to do the job any more.
The idea to remove of qualified immunity from police has lingered over many states for a few months, but now the idea looks like it's turning more into a reality for the big state as it has been brought center stage in the act to reform police.
what is qualified immunity?
Qualified immunity is a judicially created doctrine that shields government officials from being held personally liable for constitutional violations—like the right to be free from excessive police force—for money damages under federal law so long as the officials did not violate “clearly established” law.
Just as with defunding, the introduction of the removal of this law could bring about the rise of new problems, such as higher crime and less Police. The Qualified Immunity act doesn't or isn't supposed to defend officers who act with ill intent. The law strictly protects officers when they act within the guidelines of the laws they are governed by. In essence, It protects them from false accusations and frivolous law suits. What many people don't know is that this law actually protects politicians too, But they are only removing it for Law Enforcement.
how will it affect crime
How will it affect crime? Simple, There will be less police on the force. There will be more police that are less proactive as well. Would you drive a car without insurance ? Well with the removal of this law, that is exactly what police are being, Not asked, but told to do.

It is the age of defunding law Enforcement, But just because times have changed doesn't mean society should.

The Los Angeles School Police were defunded this past Tuesday. The Agency had its funding cut by $25 Million dollars, Forcing the department to cut more than 40% of its current positions. The Officers will be replaced by "Climate coaches" According to the new school plan. This is just the lates hit to the department. Just a few months back the board agreed to slash the department budget by 35%, resulting in the police Chief's resignation along with 20 other officers.
Even though Majority of campus staff along with parents did not actually want the police presence to be cut, the Board decided to go against their staff and proceed with cutting 70 sworn personnel and 62 non sworn personnel.
A Cleveland Police officer who was shot twice is now under an internal investigation for not turning on her body camera. A wicked turn of events for being shot twice.
In July the officer nearly lost her life in a gunfight. Luckily she survived the ordeal, but now she is faced with another situation by her own department for not turning on her camera during the incident.
Her partner was able to get the gunfight on his camera after a woman called 911 to get police to a house on East 81st Street. Police said a man with a gun opened fire as officers found him hiding in a bathroom. Video recorded the gunfire and a quick, chaotic confrontation. Officer Kilnapp’s father is speaking out.
John Kilnapp worked for decades as a federal agent with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms.
“My daughter called me and said, ‘Dad, I just got hit with a potential suspension.’ I thought she was joking,” he said.
We found John Kilnapp disgusted to learn his daughter could get suspended for something related to the night she got shot.
It is baffling to think that an officer who got shot twice could be subject to discipline for forgetting to activate her camera even though the entire incident was captured on her partner's camera. If she was not found to be in violation of any law during the gunfight, did her job correctly and was shot twice, the possible suspension leaves one to question the legitimacy of the discipline.
