Bremerton, WA— A Bremerton woman was arrested Tuesday on suspicion for killing her boyfriend and attempting to cover it up.
Police suspect the 49 year old woman killed her 59 year old boyfriend, David Krazel, on February 10. Bremerton Police Department Detective Matt Thuringia said the two lived in an RV for approximately 10 years in the Stage Coach Mobile and RV Park on Kitsap Way. On February 10 at approximately 9 a.m., the woman told her neighbor to call police because she had discovered Krazel dead.
The woman told police that she believed Krazel died from a heart attack because it ran in his family. Police said Krazel‘ wounds were not consistent with a heart attack. The Kitsap County Coroner found that Krazel died from multiple stab wounds and ruled his death a homicide. Thuring said that detectives determined that someone cleaned up the crime scene and disposed of pieces of evidence. Police later found them in a public dumpster. The evidence, which included a knife and bloody rags and clothing, led police to identify the victim’s girlfriend as the suspect, Thuring said. She was arrested and booked into Kitsap County Jail Tuesday, where she is being held in lieu of $1 million bail. The woman’s name has not been made public at this time.
