HUMMELSTOWN, Pa. --A Dauphin County woman is facing charges after police said a dog was stolen and the animal's remains later set on fire.
Kathryn Grecia, of Hershey, is charged with aggravated cruelty to animals, tampering with evidence and theft by unlawful taking.
Police said a 1-year-old miniature pinscher and poodle mix named Bambi was stolen in April 2018 from a home in Hummelstown.
According to police, Bambi's owner told them she knew who had taken the dog, but several attempts to locate the suspect weren't successful. Three days later, a small animal carcass was discovered on fire at the suspect's home, police said. Grecian was arrested and charged in connection with the incident
