A striking turn of events for the Muskogee Police department as they were respectfully invited to the funeral by the father of a teen they shot during a shootout.
The father of a 17 year old teen who shot at police and was subsequently killed during the shootout, has invited the involved police to her funeral. The father Steven Rauch said.
I know they’re hurting. They have to be hurting for what they had to do and that’s what they have to do in a job,” Rauch said, breaking down into tears. “I want people to know they’re loved… I want to hug them. I want everybody else to hug them. They need it. We need it.
The couple eventually crashed, then jumped out of the vehicle and took off on foot, according to the Muskogee Phoenix. The couple fled on foot before firing on Police. Farrah was subsequently shot and killed. Her boy continued to run before shooting himself in head.
A message from the Chief
I was honestly shocked when we got the invite,” Chief Teehee said. “I’ve never seen anything like this.
