Madison, WI-Police found loaded handguns, drugs, and thousands of dollars Wednesday night while arresting a Fitchburg man wanted on an active warrant.
Madison and Fitchburg police officers arrested 23 year old Mikael J. Matthews around 7 p.m. while he was in a car parked on Deer Valley Road.
Matthews had a loaded handgun, 55 Ectasy tablets, $4.21 in cash and close to 100 grams of marijuana. The vehicle was reported as stolen out of Stoughton. Matthews was wanted on a Town of Madison warrant. He is also suspected in crimes committed in Madison.
He was arrested Wednesday on tentative charges of possession of a firearm by a felon, receiving stolen property, possession with intent to deliver THC and possession with intent to deliver Ecstasy.
