Police are looking for a man who sexually assaulted a woman while wearing a police uniform.
Forth Worth, Texas. Police are searching for a man who sexually assaulted a woman. The imposter was dressed as a police officer and had red and blue bubble lights on his personal car. Apparently the department doesn't use the bubble lights according to the chief. That would be a giveaway,” Britt said. “No one on the Fort Worth force uses those. Anyone seeing something like that should give us a call.”
The woman was driving down route 820 when she was stopped by the alleged impersonator. He was driving a white dodge charger with a spotlight and red and blue rooftop lights. Thinking she was being stopped by a police officer, she pulled over into a residential neighborhood. The suspect then told her to get out of the vehicle and walked her back to his car and then sexually assaulted her.
The man is about 6 feet with a stocky build. He wore a dark-colored jacket and dark-colored “jogger-style” pants tucked into white high-top Converse Chuck Taylor sneakers. He has a Southern accent, the victim told officers.His car was described as a black four-door Dodge Charger with tinted windows, tinted “black-out style” rear tail light covers, black rims on its wheels, and a rear-end Texas license plate. The Charger has a “police style” white spotlight connected to the front driver’s side. At this time Police have said if they have determined if the suspect used threats in order to commit this crime.
