The hashtag “#Dumpstarbucks” has been trending nation wide amid an incident that occurred in an Starbucks located in Arizona
"This treatment of public safety workers could not be more disheartening. While the barista was polite, making such a request at all was offensive," the association added.
Following the incident, users took to Twitter to support the police, tweeting comments along with the #boycottstarbucks hashtag. In an apology addressed to the Tempe Police Department and posted on its website, Starbucks said the treatment of the officers was "completely unacceptable." "On behalf of Starbucks, I want to sincerely apologize to you all for the experience that six of your officers had in our store on July 4," Rossann Williams, the coffee chain's executive vice president, wrote.

So what did you do to the employee who asked them to leave and the customer. You need to make amends to these officers by showing good faith. You don't do that your apology means nothing. Actions speak louder than words.

Why was customer uncomfortable with police officers being present? Why did the barista decide to ask 6 customers versus one complaining customer. How did one customer cause such a ruckus? Maybe our customer service employees need to be empowered to tell the one customer to leave.
