St. Louis-On Sunday, the St. Louis Circuit Attorney announced an arrest in the murder of retired police captain who was killed by looters while providing security to a pawnshop.
Retired St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department Captain David Dorn, 77, was fatally shot at Lee’s Pawn and Jewelry on Tuesday.
A witness has identified Cannon as in surveillance images from Lee’s Pawn and Jewelry and other stores in the area.
Circuit Attorney Kim Gardner released a statement saying-“Based upon the diligent work of the police department, collaboration with the Circuit Attorney’s Office, and the cooperation from the outraged community, we have issued charges for the tragic murder of former Captain David Dorn.”
St. Louis police also say Jimmie Robinson, 27, has been arrested in the case. He is charged with burglary, armed criminal action, stealing and unlawful possession of a firearm.
According to Gardner, Stephen Cannon, 24, was arrested and charged with first degree murder, first degree robbery, first degree burglary, three counts of armed criminal action and felony possession of a firearm.
Robinson and Cannon are being held without bond.

Glad the killers have been arrested for this senseless killing.He was a good man trying to help someone. So much for "Black Lives Matter"
